Stepping out onto the beach, I felt like I was in a dream, the insanely white sand and turquoise waters make it look like a real-life filter. Forget Adobe here, no filters needed! During my visit I had the pleasure of meeting Ewald Biemans, owner, founder and CEO of Bucuti & Tara. Bucuti & Tara isn’t just the Caribbean’s first and only carbon-neutral hotel, it’s a property that thoughtfully integrates environmental care into every detail. Shower and sink water is treated and reused for lush gardens, solar panels help power the resort, guests are gifted stainless steel water canteens to refill with Aruba’s famously pristine tap water.
